Dangers & difficulties

• Takeoff with little space: only one wing can be spread out at a time.

• The takeoff is short and quite steep. It is not well maintained and you often find worms and rhododendrons.

• This take off works only if the breeze is correct.

• Do not attempt take-off with an unbalanced wing, you will not have room to corrrect for anything that is not fully inflated.

• Be careful of the high voltage line 500 m below.

• From Les Houches, Prarion gondola (summer: paragliding prices). Then follow the Grand Prarion path, bypassing the arrival station on the right. Follow the trail then stop for 30 minutes. The takeoff is on the ridge after the orientation table. 

• Viaduc Sainte-Marie SNCF station + 5 min. on foot to the Prarion gondola.
