Mont Blanc, the dream of many paragliders, requires careful preparation, both for the ascent and for the flight. The planning requires a perfect analysis of the mountain conditions and the forecast weather. Always be prepared to go down on foot should conditions not be favorable.

Anticyclonic regime with a weak flow from the north, southwest, east at a maximum of 20 km/hour at 4,000 m.
Dangers & difficulties
Your mental acuity is greatly reduced on Mont Blanc due to lack of oxygen and fatigue. Don't forget that the flight has a height difference of 4,000 m and takes approximately 45 minutes to fly straight down. Everything must be analyzed before taking off: cloud cover, valley winds, thermals, directions and speeds of the air masses to be crossed, etc.
Mont Blanc du Tacul in a light north or northwest wind if you climb the Three Mountain (trois mont) route from the Cosmiques Hut.
Experienced pilots with a very good level of mountaineering.
Hiring a paragliding instructor guide is strongly recommended; it will allow you to put all the chances on your side to succeed in this flight, which remains exceptional.
