Be sure that the grass is cut down (or has been hayed)  and landings are authorized before you land here. 

Access

• 500 m from the Prarion gondola car park; take the dead end at the bottom of Chavants.

• Sainte-Marie viaduct SNCF station + 5 min. walk. Bus stop at the Prarion gondola.

Particular Difficulties

• In a rising valley breeze, the landing is in the lee of the relief to the west, at the exit of a venturi and becomes unusable as soon as the rising breeze sets in.

• Remember to take your bearings before taking off and check that the landing field is still authorized depending on the status of the hay crop.

• The air can become quite turbulent when the valley breeze sets in.
